THEE TRANSMISSIONARY MOVEMENT. THE ART MOVEMENT I STARTED FOR VISUAL / PERFORMANCE / TRANSGRESSIVE / SOUND / ART…..
Power Electronics label run by Erik Stanger of Grammal Seizure.
THEE TRANSMISSIONARY MOVEMENT is an art movement to get like minded artist’s of all disciplines exhibiting and collaborating on their work together.
Thee Transmissionary Movements agenda is to create / make and transmit art and ideas in any way shape or form the artist sees fit. This includes sound / visual / performance and any other means to get across ideas and aesthetics. Unconventional materials / found objects / traditional materials are all encouraged in the movement. Unconventional exhibition spaces are also encouraged. If the established galleries won’t have us, we find and exhibit in a different space. Thee Transmissionary Movement is borrowing ideas and taking it’s cues from DADA / Fluxus / COUM / Pop / Bauhaus / and Constructivist ideology and carrying them further into today’s modern society. The power of art has much more relevance in a group than one solo artist trying to get his or her ideas across in the cluttered and crowded art world of today.

Hey Erik. I’m listening to Soundtrack to a Mental Breakdown right now. I love your sound. I’m really impressed by the production–how the low end is crumbly and super-vivid and velvety at the same time. The “holy shit!” reaction I posted in the comp was first of all coming from the fact that your track sent my whole desk vibrating like it was going to break apart and second, it was just an amazing visceral, musical experience. Great stuff man. Cheers.

All i can say is thanks… I’m glad I could create such an experience through sound… I work hard at making the music and recording / mastering to get the sound into the “red” just before everything comes apart… I love that sound as well…
Cheers again for the comment..
